Dual Educational at the Desenzano Lake Village: Training on the Shores of Lake Garda
The Desenzano Lake Village was chosen as the learning centre to help offer a unique experience.
Have you ever been to the southern shore of Lake Garda? The lower one, which along its coast sees Sirmione, Bardolino, Moniga and also Desenzano del Garda among others. Ask anyone and you will be told that the latter is the perfect after-dinner destination. Bars, discos, nightlife surrounded by the gentle sound of the waves and brightened by the colourful lights of the clubs. This is Desenzano: euphoria, joy, stories and adventures to be told the next morning, immediately after seeing the sunrise reflected on the stretch of water.
But right in the middle of this frenzy, there is a place that looks like it belongs to another world, that seems to live in its own reality since it is not reached by night-time music, not blinded by neon lights, even though it is only a few minutes' walk along the lakefront. This is the Desenzano Lake Village, the pearl on the lake of Club del Sole.
In this village organised in two distinct areas - one rising directly from the beach and the other more inland, lying on a hint of a hill - Dual Communication's Educational took place on 29th September: a day dedicated to training and coaching on trust and corporate wellbeing. The Desenzano Lake Village was chosen as the learning centre to help offer a unique experience, where participants were able to hold workshops inside our tensile structure, stay in the lake-view lodges and have lunch relaxing in the lake village restaurant, enjoying local dishes and wines.
A training day already started the previous evening, with the arrival of the organisers and coaches, who were able to set up the entire tensile structure with the help of the Club del Sole staff, ensure that there were enough tables and seats, and that all the audio-visual presentation material made available was adequate for their needs. Equipped with a large projection screen, the tensile structure is entirely composed of glass windows overlooking the lake. It is equipped with curtains to protect participants from the weather and the sunlight. It is perfect for hosting up to 100 participants in a spacious seating arrangement or organised in comfortable round tables. In the case of small groups, space can be divided so that only part of the facility is dedicated to the planned activity.
The training day began the following morning, immediately after a hearty breakfast buffet, and saw the arrival of the village guests - who checked in, waited for the official start and relieved of the stress of the trip by relaxing in the coffee break station set up for the event - and the sequence of the numerous activities.
Our tensile structure was perfect, you have to believe us! Yes, it's a bit like hearing the host complimenting the wine, we realise that. The light brightened up the whole area, but it didn't bother. The air-conditioning system also made this surprisingly hot late September day pleasant.
At the end of the day, the guests and coaches were able to relax in their private accommodation. Privacy and a sense of community all at once. It was enough to step out onto one's private veranda to see the other participants, to say hello and to meet for an aperitif with a view of the lake. Dinner was served in the large dining room of the resort restaurant, while live music played.
A day and a stay that allowed people from all over Italy to get to know each other with a handshake, and to leave hugging each other with a smile.
The village is 38 km from Verona airport, 79 km from Orio al Serio airport and 113 km from Linate airport. Brescia railway station is 33 km away.
